2026 Tournaments
The 2026 Brookings Friends of Baseball tournament dates are set and registration is currently open. Three to four-game guarantees, divisions for all ages available. Teams from all states are welcome. There state/organization bat rules will apply.
Teams are encouraged to register soon as the tournaments have historically been full.
Please note that there will be no refunds granted for any team that registers and then does not field a team for the tournament.

2026 Cubby's Sports Bar and Grill Classic (9U-12U) - June 5-7
9U, 10U, 11U and 12U Divisions. Minimum 3 games, however, teams generally play 4 or 5 games. This is a 3-day tournament with consolation and championship bracket games on Sunday. $350 per team
2026 Buffalo Wild Wings Classic (9U-12U) - July 10-12
9U, 10U, 11U and 12U divisions. Tournament will be held at Southbrook Complex and possibly Medary-Dwiggins Complex if needed. Brookings Arts Festival is held the same weekend - https://bsaf.com/ ($350)
2026 Cubby's Bar and Grill Classic (13U & 14U) - June 12-14, 2026
South Dakota Class A or equivalent 13U and 14U divisions. June 12-14, 2026. Games will be played at Bob Shelden Field, Mickelson Middle School, Erv Huether Field at SDSU and potentially Hoff Field in Volga and the Aurora Baseball Field Spikes will NOT be allowed at Erv Huether. Molded cleats and turf shoes required. Molded cleats and turf shoes are preferred at Bob Shelden and Hoff Field. $450 per team.
2026 Buffalo Wild Wings Classic (16U and Junior Legion Divisions) - July 10-12
16U Division and Junior Legion Division. JL division is designed for Class A (or equivalent) second JL teams, Class B junior legion or 16U/VFW teams wanting to play-up a division. 16U for Class A or equivalent 16U teams, 15U AAA/AA teams, 14U AAA teams and VFW teams. Games will be played at Bob Shelden Field, Hoff Field in Volga, Aurora and Erv Huether Field at SDSU. No spikes will be allowed at Erv Huether. Molded cleats and turf shoes required. Molded cleats and turf shoes preferred at Hoff and Bob Shelden. $425 per team. Brookings Arts Festival is held the same weekend - https://bsaf.com/ ($450)
2026 Brookings Auto Mall Classic (13/14U) - June 26-28
Tournament designed for South Dakota Class A "combined teams," Class B 14U or 13U teams or 14U teams considered "B" level by state designation. Games will be played at Bob Shelden Field, Mickelson Middle School, Erv Huether on the SDSU campus and other facilities in the Brookings area as needed. $450 per team.
Minnesota Twins/St. Paul Saints Parade of Champions
The championship team of each Brookings Friends of Baseball tournament this season will be invited to participate in the Parade of Champions hosted by the Minnesota Twins and St. Paul Saints.
Sponsored by Minnesota Youth Athletic Services, the championship teams will have the opportunity to walk the field during a select Twins or Saints game as part of the parade.
The dates for the Minnesota Twins games are TBD.
The dates for St. Paul Saints games will are TBD.
Information will be sent to the coach of each winning team.
